James Roe

James dedication and competitive nature has lead him to much success locally, nationally and internationally in Cross Country (XC) mountain biking.  Having competed at the last 3 Natwest Island Games gaining 6 medal in the process, including 3 individual medals and 2 gold.  He also competed at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow where he placed 14th amongst the best in the world.  Roe continues to explore his limits of fitness and currently ranks amongst the best XC athletes in the country.  On the road he regularly mixes it with the best local riders and has competed against house hold names such as Geraint Thomas and David Miller at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Although nowadays James has his sights set firmly on the competitive side of the sport there are not many disciplines he hasn't tried.  From spending 6 months riding the dirt jumps and downhill tracks of New Zealand to living in Whilster, Canada doing laps of the infamous bike park James has ridden it all.

James knowledge of cycling and the latest cycling technology is second to none, if there is a new product release he will be the first to know and probably have ordered it for himself.

Through his own training James has built up a vast knowledge of what it takes for cyclists of all levels to improve, he currently works with local up and coming talent as a mentor on the mountain bike team and assists with training plans and advice.
